# Creators: Activate PLAUS

**Note:**  The activation mechanism is designed to set the PLAUS item active plus paying the top-up amounts and fees!  By paying all fees and MBR prepaid amounts at the time of activation instead of creation, authors have a window of checking before activation and making payments.

### Step 1: Click  Activate button

Select the PLAUS and click Activate button.

### Step 2:  Confirm activation

Confirm to activate the PLAUS by clicking OK.
